10th November, 2009 As an everyday In the morning I wake up, prepare for classes, and with the school bus I drive to school. The first lesson starts at 8.15 in the morning, some days even at 7.25. One lesson lasts for forty-five minutes. Between one and another lesson we have a five minutes break. We have a snack at 9.15. It takes twenty minutes. Lessons normally take six or seven hours at school, but often also eight. After the sixth hour, at 12.35 pm, we have lunch for which we have about twenty-five minutes. In addition to compulsory subjects, each student chooses two or three optional courses, attended by two or three times a week. After the last lesson of the day (this is the eighth), ending at 2.35, the last students go home. After learning in extra-curricular activities, which you also choose by yourself (sports, music school ...), you are free. In our spare time we watch TV, play computer games, hang out with friends, go to the cinema, the shops, go skating, ... This is the end of our daily school day, with the exceptions when we have some other tasks. Sandra, 9.b
As a special day!
On 10th November we had a day of activities. We were playing football, volleyball and handball. We played against girls and boys from the parallel class. We were fighting and cheering. We had a really nice day and a lot of fun together. We were satisfied with the results. And after lunch we returned home a little bit tired. Urska, 9.b I woke up at 6.30 am. First, I said good morning to my grandmother, sister and parents. Then I stroked my dog Missy. For breakfast I had an apple and a cup of water. I can't eat much in the morning. When I finished my breakfast, I got dressed up. In school we had a sport's day, so I put on a T-shirt and sport trousers. At 7.10 am my grandmother drove me to school. At the first hour we had a class meeting. We were discussing our junior prom. At 8.15 am the sport's day had finnaly begun. We played football, volleyball and handball, 9.b versus 9.a. When boys were playing, we were cheering and singing, and we had a lot of fun. I played volleyball and handball, because I am not good at football. But some girls in our class are very good football players. After all games ended, we had lunch. We ate spaghetti with sauce and it was good. At 1.00 pm I went home. Then I rested all the afternoon, because I felt sick. I was using my computer for some time and chatting with my friends. At 8.00 pm I went to a training in Slovenska Bistrica. I've been training twirling for about six years now. Baton twirling is a game involving the manipulation of a metal rod with the hands and body to a co-coordinated routine, similar to rhythmic gymnastics. I came home at 9.45 PM. Then I went to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night because I had banking about that nightmare dream. Then I went back to sleep. Around 6 o’clock my mobile phone rang. I woke up then I was getting dressed for school. I was still thinking about that nightmare I had. The scariest thing was that the nightmare could come true. I couldn’t concentrate when I was at class, because I was thinking about that dream. When I was back at home I called my friend to tell her everything about that dream but I couldn’t tell her. I couldn’t open myself to anyone. When my mom and brother came back home we had dinner. Then I realized it was already dark. My mum told me to wash myself and go to bed. I didn’t want to go to sleep because I was afraid that I would have that dream again, but I didn’t have a choice. When I woke up the next morning I was so glade I didn’t had the nightmare.

On March 23rd, I woke up early in the morning and I was very tired. I went to school by bus and I had lessons from 8.15 to 13.30. The school day was boring like always, but the best thing in this day was my football training. I went there at 15.30, and my training started at 4 o 'clock. I'm always at the training, because this is a part of my everday life and I like this sport too. After the training, I was learning and doing my homework for the next school day. After that I read some news on the internet, 24ur.com, then I had a shower. At 10 o'clock I went to bed and fell asleep. This day was nothing special, it was like my every normal day. My days pass by very quickly, because I have a lot of activities. ŽAN LIPNIK, 9.a

It's Tuesday and I'm sitting on my bed. Its morning and I'm preparing to go to school. Today the weather is nice, so I don't need a jacket and a scarf. I just pick up my white school bag and go. While I'm walking to the bus station, I'm listening to the music. It releases me. When I come to school, my friends are waiting for me and then we chat about this day, movies and of course boys… When I come home, I do my homework and then I go to my training for volleyball. I have played volleyball for 2 years. I really love it!
After that I watch TV, surf on the net. After having a shower I go to bed and before I fall asleep I listen to music.

I’m Matic Govejšek and I play ice hockey. Last Tuesday we had a match against Jesenice. This game was in Maribor. The weather at this morning was bad, and this was one more sign that the day will end badly for us. The pressure was big, because this was the last game in the playoffs. The result was tied 2:2 in previous victories. So we had to win. At the beginning of the game, the coach explained tactics to us but we hated that and we began to play on our own. The game was very interesting. However, our competitors were better and we lost. So, after this important game we ended on the second place in the championship and my day finished in tears.
